Residents of the Medical University of the 2^nd year, of nephrology, pulmonology, hematology specialties, have become a part of a visiting residency based on Abay Central Hospital.

During this period they examined the patients, and also conducted an explanatory conversation about the main aspects of the diet, taking into account the age of the patients, and adherence to a healthy lifestyle.

They also kept medical records (history) which included physical examination, complaints, a detailed history of the disease, with a reflection of the dynamics of the syndromes and symptoms, the full objective status. They wrote progress notes - with the indication of the patient's condition, the dynamics of the syndromes and symptoms, interpretation of laboratory and instrumental data. Based on them, they make a preliminary diagnosis, with further tactics to manage the patient and reasoning the methods of examination and treatment of patients, in particular the therapeutic profile, according to clinical protocols for diagnosis and treatment of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan. Also the work with legislative and regulatory documents governing the activities of health organizations that provide outpatient and inpatient care to the population of Kazakhstan was conducted.

Each resident examined about 60 adults and 40 children with different pathologies.  There were 19 patients in the department of therapy, to where they were hospitalized on a planned and on an urgent basis. The number of patients with pathology of the respiratory organs were in the majority

Summing up, we can say that each of us has learned and mastered something new for himself.
