On January 28, the Regional Forum of student youth representatives of eight universities of the region was held at KSMU.

The forum organizers are Youth Affairs Department of KSMU, the Coordination Council of Youth of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and «Қоғамдық келісім» CSA of the akim of the region.

The purpose of the forum is the formation of the “Student Karaganda” brand, the creation of the a united student society and the stimulation of youth interest in scientific, public and sports activities.

Vice – Rector KSMU in Charge for Strategic Development, Science and International Cooperation of A.A.Turmukhambetova said: “I wish the forum participants interesting meetings, an exchange of ideas, a successful start of your projects throughout the Year of the Youth”.

Chairman of the “Жарасым” Republican Youth Organization T.G.Dzhumurbaev, Deputy Chairman of the Regional APK, Chairman of the Council of Public Accord of the Karaganda Region B.K.Altynbekov,  the founder of the “ASYL ADAM” charitable foundation K.Shukenov, the chairman of the student parliament of the Karaganda State University named after E.A.Buketov A.Zhorabekov and the head of the Regional Headquarters of the Republican youth movement called «Жаңғыру жолы» A.N.Urmashov took part in the forum.

This forum is an opportunity for students to implement their ideas and projects, help in solving issues of professional, creative and social self-realization. This was confirmed by the presentation of student start-up projects «Жаңғыру жолы», from which the guests learned about the most interesting and successful student initiatives.

The forum gives young people the opportunity to gain additional knowledge in the field of their profession, broaden their outlook, open new horizons,  meet interesting people and learn more about other universities.

The Akim of the Kazybek-bi district of Karaganda T.N.Shatokhina noted that this forum is aimed at supporting youth initiatives. Its main task is to create new social elevators for young people, to show opportunities for further growth in Kazakhstan.

The opening of the “Жарасым” student club and the solemn handover of the flag of Karag.region CUS of APK took place during the Forum. Timur Dzhumurbayev, chairman of the «Жарасым» Republican youth organization, congratulated the students and wished them new ideas and success.

“We are very pleased that such a large-scale forum is taking place in our university. We hope that we will be heard and confidently move forward” - said the 2nd year student Wolf Alexander.

    The 5th year student, Hoffman Sabina, believes that the forum will allow its participants to learn something new and offer their own ideas. It is an opportunity to communicate and interact with other universities in an informal atmosphere and in interactive form.

      More than 500 students from among the active and creative youth of universities of the region took part in the work of the forum.

    At the end of the event, the letters of appreciation from the «Қоғамдық келісім» pry under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republican Youth Organization “Жарасым” and the assembly of the Karaganda region were presented to young residents of the region for their contribution to the development of the youth and student movement.

     Student groups of KSMU and ethnocultural  associations of the region also addressed the participants of the Forum.
