An “honest cafeteria” appeared in Karaganda State Medical University

A cozy
cafeteria, which is open at the Karaganda Medical University within the
framework of the nationwide campaign “The territory of honesty” has been
declared as the space of fair purchase. Here, students, teachers and staff, after
choosing a purchase, leave the money at the cash register, and if necessary, take
the change from there. The process of sale occurs without the participation of
the seller. Bakery, pastry and confectionery products produced by the
University catering complex are displayed on the counters, in addition, various
drinks, juices and other food products are offered. It is worth noting that the
cafeteria will work on an ongoing basis. According to university students, this
is a wonderful undertaking: now everyone can check themselves for honesty,
which will certainly contribute to the education of morality and zero tolerance
for any deception.
One of the
first visitors to the cafeteria was Alik Zhatkambayevich Shpekbayev, Chairman
of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for civil service affairs and
countering corruption, and Erlan Zhakanovich Koshanov, mayor of the Karaganda
region.
Within
the program of the visit of distinguished guests there was an acquaintance with
the Student Service Center of KSMU. The guests noted with satisfaction the
well-established digital system for processing requests and applications of
students, excluding direct contacts with the staff and the teachers of the university.
The system is completely transparent and accessible from any mobile device.
The Medical University of Karaganda will
continue the focused work on establishing honesty as the norm of relationships
and the most important criterion of quality of the specialists’ training.
