November 20, the Youth Affairs Department together with the activists of the «Жұлдыз»
Youth Health Center and the «Үміт» public association in the KSU named after E.A.Buketov organized a seminar
on the prevention of the use of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
During the seminar, the participants of the event: Atygaeva Zarina, Katyetova Dana, Zhaksylyk Mukhit, Baispaeva Tamara and Zhumagaliyev Ondas told the students of the Faculty of History of KarSU about the dangers of using narcotic and psychoactive substances, discussed the modern methods of countering the spread of narcotic drugs and psychoactive substances and demonstrated the audience the videos about negative impact of popular among youth the smoking and breathing mixtures on the human and especially on the teenager’s one.
At the end of the event, the management of the faculty thanked the participants of the center for the informative action and expressed confidence that such meetings would be useful for young people and will bear fruit in the future.
