On the first Saturday of November, the Youth Affairs Department together with the Center of Physical Health started the XVII KSMU football championship.

It’s impossible to imagine the sports life of the university without the football championship. In just 5 years, the tournament has become a real source of the qualified players for the university team and is one of the most popular competitions at the university.

Student teams representing dormitories, schools, faculties and specialties of KSMU take part in the tournament. We are glad that participants of championship traditionally show a good level of training. Championship games are really interesting and attract the attention of a large number of fans. Students actively support their teams, in the stands an atmosphere of a sports holiday!

Karaganda region is considered to be one of the centers of Kazakhstan mini-football. Championship games are a good help to prepare for the regional championship on football, which runs in parallel. It is not easy for our leading sportsmen to play on two fronts, there is no one to complain. As a result, successful performances of athletes of KSMU in tournaments of city and regional levels.
