In the period from 15.10.2018 to 26.10.2018 Head of the Department of Public Health Zhakenova Saule Rahimzhanovna was sent to the West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after Marat Ospanov as part of a programme "Academic mobility".

During her stay at the university Zhakenova S.R. gave lectures and conducted practical training for public health faculties’ students of fourth courses at the department of public health of the West Kazakhstan State Medical University. The lectures were given on the following topics: “New public health as a science and subject of teaching”, "Public health and methods of its study”, “Demography and its medical and social aspects”, "Socio-hygienic aspects of population mortality”, “Medico-social significance and analysis of infant and maternal mortality”, “Population morbidity. Study methods and analysis of morbidity”, “Medical Statistics”.

As part of an exchange of practical experience Zhakenova S.R. held classes of TBL methodology on the topic “Organization of medical care for industrial workers”. There was also problem-oriented learning class of “Morbidity with temporary incapacity analysis” for the 4^th  year students of public health specialty.

The West Kazakhstan State Medical University and the department of public health of Karaganda State Medical University reached an agreement on further development of ties and interdepartmental work.
