Dentistry is a champion!
The games of the XVI
championship of KSMU on football ended on the open sports ground of the
dormitory 4. Seven teams representing dormitories and faculties of KSMU and representatives of Karaganda State Technical University and
Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino (Dushanbe) took
part in the tournament.
The organizers of the tournament: the Youth Affairs Department and the Center of Physical Health prepared the memorable prizes for participant of the championship - colorful T-shirts with the symbols of KSMU.
Participants called the championship "Snow" for extreme conditions. It seemed that the weather decided to bring down to the sportsmen as many unpleasant surprises as possible in these two months: from the heat of the first rounds, to the lingering mid rains and snowfall with rain at the end. Neither precipitation nor freezing temperatures stopped the participants' determination to identify a football champion, despite the bad weather.
It's nice that the main feature of the tournament to determine the name of the winner only in the last game was preserved in the XVI championship.
Only the final game of the two leaders “Dentistry” (captain Karimov Zhandarbek) and KarSTU (captain Taylakbayev Abat) should have named the champion. KSTU was led 3:2, but two minutes before the end the “golden” goal of Zhunis Aitore presented the desired draw 3: 3 to the “dentists” and the first victory in the tournament.

All team players who took prize-winning places were awarded the memorable prizes.
There was defined the symbolic team of the championship according to the results of the tournament:
“The Best Goalkeeper” – Beskempir Daniar (“Dentistry”);
“The Best Defender” – Omirzak Nizamiddin (Internship);
“The Best Striker” – Symanov Bekzat (KarSTU);
“The Best Player” – Maratuuly Bektur (“Dentistry”);
In addition, there were introduced additional nominations for encouragement of the participants:
“The Most Useful Player” – Ermekbaev Isa (“Internship”)
“The Most Technical Player” – Kumarbekov Erkebulan ( GP);
"The Opening of the Season – Mamaev Lazizbek(“Dormitory 1”), Zermukhanbetov Ansar(“Dormitory 6”) and Baisarov Mansur (“Dormitory 1”) .
