From October 8 to 14, 2018 representatives of the Karaganda Medical University in the person of the Department of Dentistry Tuleutayeva S.T., assistant of the department Mukhtarova K.S. and the 2^nd year master students Ashirbekova Zh.Zh. and Bakirova A.Zh., visited Budapest (Hungary), in which  the International Dental Congress was held, the exhibition and master-classes on orthodontics. The inviting party was PhD professor Peter Borbely, president of the Hungarian Association of Orthodontists.

The International Dental Congress was held three days. During the program, the following areas of dentistry were presented: orthodontics, implantology with periodontology, endodontics, and aesthetic dentistry. We visited sections of orthodontics and endodontic dentistry. The guest lecturers were Prof. Dr. Ramesh Sabhlok (UAE) and Dr. Mauricio Balut D. D. S (Mexico), MUDr Simona Dianiskova (Slovenia), Dr. Wassim Bouzid (UAE), which showed the most interesting instances of  their clinical practice.

The master-classes on orthodontics were held during the week within the precints of orthodontic clinic of the professor PhD Peter Borbely. The master- classes were conducted by Dr. Ramesh Sabhlok (UAE) and Dr. Mauricio Balut D. D. S (Mexico), who have disclosed current trends in orthodontics in details. The master-classes was organized so as to fully reveal all aspects of the problem case: including risk factors, causes of diseases, clinical features, modern methods of diagnosis and treatment, based on the individual characteristics of patients and on the principles of evidence-based medicine.  Also, joint analyzes of clinical cases with maxillofacial surgeons were organized, within the framework of the development of orthosurgery.

The topics discussed during the intensiveorthodontic course and presented at the conference of the Hungarian orthodontic society were are relevant, and are of current interest not only among the doctors-orthodontists, but also to other dentists.
