Participation of KSMU in the Chinese-French-Kazakhstani Conference in Astana, Kazakhstan

From October 18 to October 19, representatives of KSMU: Director of Internationalization Mark Ruiz-Zorrilla Cruzate, Head of the International Cooperation Department S.B. Kasymova and PhD student Y.M. Fomenko participated at the Chinese-French-Kazakhstani Conference, which was organized upon an initiative of International Bio-Business Service (IBBS), Embassy of the France in Kazakhstan, Wuhan Sino-French School of Oncology, Nazarbaev University on the theme: Innovative Therapeutic Solutions for Cancer and Ageing diseases and Networking.

The Conference were participated by the Minister of Health Care of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.A. Birtanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Kazakhstan Philippe Martine,  representatives of the following universities and organizations of France: Université Paris Sud (Paris), Chem4LS (Palaiseau), Gustave Roussy Institute (Paris), Inserm (Nice), CIPREVO (Paris), Oregon Therapeutics, Université d’Evry (Paris), Life sciences (Paris), Institut Cochin, (Paris), PopsiCube-Fovea; representatives of the HEIs of China: HUST Wuhan, Chinese Academy of Sciences Center for Excellence in Nanoscience, Beijing, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University, 826 Zhangheng Road, Shanghai, School of Physical Science and Technology Shanghai Tech University, Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin University.

During the Conference, innovative therapeutic solutions for cancer diseases were presented, as well as Networking, B2B meetings were held to discuss possible cooperation of the Universities from Kazakhstan with the Chinese and French HEIs. KSMU held series of meetings and developed a plan of further cooperation with the Conference participants.
