Implementation of the 005 program of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Сenter of Practical Skills of KSMU
From 8 to 13 October, the Center for Practical Skills of KSMU underwent a
training course for instructors (medical teachers) at medical universities and
colleges in accordance with the program of the Ministry of Health of the
Republic of Kazakhstan 005 “Organizing and conducting training using
standardized patients”. Lectures were given by the program leaders:
Victor Riklefs, vice-rector by education, director of the Center for Practical
Skills Gulshat Kemelova, and Larisa Matsievskaya, head of the department of
medical psychology and communication skills. In the practical
exercises were demonstrated for teachers using a standardized patient and they
were given the opportunity to independently develop a clinical scenario for a
standardized patient.
