On September 26, the Youth Affairs Department together with the INSIGHT Debate club conducted a round table on the theme “Respect for experience and wisdom”.

Debaters always look at the problem from all sides, today they discussed this issue from the point of view of the survival of our biological species as a species.

The students decided that the main advantage of experience and wisdom for our species is the manifestation of respect for older people who possess these qualities is the basis of our species. Everyone knows that the main feature of the human race is the availability of written and oral speech to transmit information to future generations. if it were not for the older generation, then you and I would go down to our distant ancestors, monkeys. Without older generation, we would return to our distant ancestors monkeys. Showing respect to older generations, as more experienced and wise, we must remember that we are a continuation of them.

 The disrespect of the younger generation to elders, makes our debaters feel indignant. In such situations, members of our club are trying to explain to young people that respect for elders is not only upbringing, but the culture and life position of a person!

In the traditions of our club the respect for elders and more experienced and wise peers. While we remember our roots, we have hope for a bright future or we plunge into darkness.
