KSMU has been awarded "three Stars" in the QS Stars
According to the results
of the audit conducted in August, 2018 by the international ranking agency
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), Karaganda
State Medical University is the first among medical universities in Kazakhstan
which has been awarded "3 Stars" in the QS Stars.
The ranking from 0 to 5+ Stars QS is assigned to the higher education institutions depending on the number of points scored by the audit results on more than 50 different indicators. In a number of indicators such as teaching, employability and facilities our university received the highest scores.
Today, only one university among the Kazakh universities has four Stars is Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, East Kazakhstan State Technical University named after D. Serikbayev and Kazakh State Women's Teacher Training University have three Stars and Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz has two QS Stars.
