Training of top managers of the KSMU in Barselona
From July 3rd to July 17th a group of employees of the Karaganda State Medical University underwent vocational training in the course "Management in Education" on the basis of the Graduate School of Management in Barcelona, Spain.
Under the training program, the staff participated in the Human Forum under the chairmanship of Mrs. Rosa Maria Pujol, Prisident of Amics de la UNESCO, Dr.Sc. Tatiana Kompaniets, Director of GSM Barcelona, Prisident of Saint Diodor Foundation.
Within the framework of the forum new educational trends and problems that universities and colleges face were discussed, an exchange of experience between representatives of European schools and Kazakhstan medical universities (KSMU, MUA) was conducted, presentation of the best works of masters from Kazakhstan who graduated from GSM Barcelona.
At the GSM Barcelona Awards 2018, Karaganda State Medical University is recognized as the best in the field of international education, the development of academic mobility among the 108 universities in the world, with which GSM Barcelona cooperates.
During the training, the professor of GSM Barcelona was acquainted with the peculiarities of European and American education of the 21st century, was presented the results of research on management.
Under the training program, a group of KSMU employees visited
• Parc Recerca Biomedica Barcelona, which has the status of the best technopark in Europe. Head of Dr. Reimund Fickert acquainted with the structure of the park, with scientific directions, educational programs PhD, conducted a tour of the laboratories of the park.
• Centros de Diagnostico por Imagen Grup Manchón Barcelona, on the basis of which master's students are trained in the specialty "Medicine". Professor Dr. Leonardo Romero, recognized as the best teacher by the GSM Barcelona Awards 2018, acquainted with the structure of the clinic, the directions of clinical research.
As a result of the trip, representatives of GSM Barcelona and KSMU have planned joint projects for the international association of universities GSM Barcelona.
