In addition, we were provided with individual doctors so that we could learn the program of our practice as much as possible.
In the Therapeutic Department, we participated in the patient's rounds, collected complaints, anamnesis, general examination, palpation, percussion and auscultation of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, urinary and neuroendocrine systems, revealed internal syndrome, isolated the leading syndrome and participated in the formulation of the preliminary diagnosis. In the Surgical Department, we participated in patient visits, in physiotherapy, worked in the dressing room, collected and interpreted X-ray images, data from functional and laboratory studies, participated in the preparation for the operation, and participated in emergency operations, with detailed explanations of the work done by the surgeons. We also had feedback, we answered the questions of our leaders on the academic part. Some of us remained extra on duty at will.
During the free time from practice, Mr. Khozhiev Dilmurod Yakhshievich, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the Head of the Pathanatomy Department of the BSMI, organized a cultural and entertainment program through the city of Bukhara. We visited the holy places and many sights of this ancient and beautiful city, incl. the museum of Ibn Sina, the village where he was born.
We were impressed by the scale and level of the clinic, the respectful attitude of the clinic's staff to us, the desire to share experience and knowledge, creating excellent conditions for practice. We got an opportunity to acquire valuable professional skills and in the future to be useful to our country.
We express our gratitude for the opportunity to practice in Uzbekistan to the Rector of our University, R.S. Dosmagambetova, to all employees of the International Cooperation Department, in particular Moldir Saparova.
