In 2018, 7 students from Turkey, Poland, Denmark and Czech Republic came to the Karaganda State Medical University within the framework of the Kazakhstan Association of Medical Students (KazMSA), and one student from the Czech Republic is expected to arrive in September.

Two students are training at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of KSMU on Reproductive Health: Anna Berg Hansen, third year student of the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and Asli Ninat, second year student of the University of Gazi (Ankara, Turkey). Students will have practice at KSMU from July 9 to July 20, then they will continue their mobility at the Medical University of Astana (MUA).

Also, three students are studying at the Department of Biology on Research Exchange from July 2 to July 27, 2018: Aysha Ozcan, second year student of the Medical School of Akibadem University (Istanbul); Andrea Kalisova, fourth-year student at the Medical School of Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic); Kostuj Marcin, fifth year student of the Medical University of Silesia (Poland). A week later, on July 9, Hatice Sahin, first year student of the Medical Faculty of the Necmettin Erbakan University (Konya, Turkey), she will be trained until August 3, 2018 at the Department of Biology.

Students also practice at the Center for Practical Skills of the KSMU.

On July 11, International Cooperation Department of KSMU organized a study visit to the museum of the KSMU where they got acquainted with the history of the creation and development of our university. Further, a meeting was held with the Rector of KSMU, Professor R.S. Dosmagambetova.

At the weekend, Kazakh Association of Medical Students (KazMSA) organized an excursion to the resort village of Borovoe for guests.
