In the period from May 28 to July 3, 10 students of the 4th year of the  specialty "General medicine" were in the Novosibirsk State Medical University on industrial practice. The industrial practice was held in the disciplines of "Obstetrics and gynecology" on the basis of the City Hospital No.1 and "Children's diseases" on the basis of Children's Clinical Hospital.

On the first day of practice we had a tour of the main building of NSMU and got acquainted with its long history, which began back in 1935. We also met with the administration of the university, in particular with the Vice-rector of NSMU for Medical Work, doctor of medical Sciences, Elena Leonidovna Tertiaeva. We heard from her about the history of the university, about the training programs, training areas, the public life of the university and the innovations introduced into the educational process. We, in turn, told about our KSMU and about our system of education.

  I want to acknowledge the kindness and wonderful attitude of the administration of the NSMU.

The first practical training was held in the discipline "Obstetrics and gynecology" in the period from May 28 to June 13 at the City Clinical Hospital in the maternity hospital. The maternity hospital includes the following departments: Department of pathology of pregnant women, Maternity department, Postpartum department, Department of anesthesiology and intensive care.

 Here we met with the Deputy chief medical officer, chief freelance anesthesiologist-resuscitator of obstetrics MOH NSO, Ph. D., honored doctor of the Russian Federation A.N. Drobinskaya.She shared with us her personal long-term experience, interesting stories during her studies at the medical University.

E. V. Duma, senior midwife has distributed us in different departments, which gave us the opportunity to get acquainted with the structure of each department, to supervise patients.

The hospital staff taught us the necessary manipulations, which we carried out ourselves in the future. On duty, we were allowed to attend operations, as well as assist. 

 I would like to note that not only the hospital staff, but also the patients themselves came to meet us, allowed to collect obstetric and gynecological history, to carry out the necessary manipulations.

 At the end of the practice, a differential test was conducted, which included a theoretical part, namely an oral survey, as well as a practical part, which took place directly at the hospital patients ' beds, which gave us invaluable experience.

In the period from June 14 to July 3, we had a practical training as an assistant pediatrician at the Children's Clinical hospital of the city. During the practice we managed to supervise children of different ages - from the period of newborn to senior school age-with various diseases of the body systems.

On June 19 we were invited to the conference. The leading pediatricians of the country presented reports on various diseases of childhood, such as atopic dermatitis, lactase deficiency, the impact of the era of new technologies on the child's psyche, and highlighted innovative technologies in the treatment and prevention of these pathologies.

 The differential credit at the end of the practice also consisted of two stages - oral and practical. An oral examination was conducted according to the protocols of diagnostics and treatment in force in the territory of the Russian Federation, which, by the way, do not contradict the Protocols in force on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan

By a happy coincidence, in June, residents of Novosibirsk celebrate 2 holidays at once - the day of Russia and the day of the city, which gave us the opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of the city and its attractions. We visited such places as novat, Novosibirsk planetarium, zoo, Zaeltsovsky forest, Birch grove, etc.
