On the eve of the Day of Health workers(July 13-15) in Aktau, there was held the 7^th Congress of Association of Endoscopic Surgeons of Kazakhstan “Innovations and Safety in Endoscopic Surgery” with international delegates.

  Seven countries participated in the congress, namely, France, Poland, Latvia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan.

  Kayrat Tanabayevich Shakeyev, the head of the Department of Surgical Diseases No.1, took part inthisforum organized by our medical university as an honorable participant and moderator. He presented a paperwork on the topic “Errors and dangers of endosurgery: our experience” in the “Safety in endoscopic surgery” section, in which he shed light on technical errors and risks in endosurgery and their possible preventions.

  The spectacular beauty of Caspian Sea with its refreshing breeze deserves a special mention.
