On May 31, 2018 in KSMU a meeting with the Ambassador of the Romanian Republic in the Republic of Kazakhstan Chezar Manole Armeanu took place.

Besides the ambassador the meeting was attend by  the I Secretary of Embassy of Romania in Kazakhstan Nikolay Pavaluka.

On behalf of  KSMU  the Ambassador was met by: rector of KSMU, professor R.S. Dosmagambetova, provost (first vice rector) KSMU Vaiva Hendrikson, Vice rector for Organizational and Economic Work M.K. Teleuov, Vice rector for Educational and Methodical Work V.P. Riklefs, Vice rector for Clinical Work and Continuous Professional Development B.N. Kosherova, head of the  Department of Clinical Work and employment of graduates B.K. Omarkulov and head of the Department of International Cooperation S.B. Kasymova. Also at the meeting there were deans of faculties, teachers, administrative and managerial personnel and students.

Cooperation of KSMU with the Romanian University began in 2017. In March of that year doctoral candidates of KSMU A.S. Akhayev, A.B. Marchenko passed a scientific training in the city of Brasov at the University of Transylvania. The research supervisor of doctoral candidates was professor Antonella Cheska. Doctoral candidates successfully defended the dissertation in 2017.

Within the program of the student's organization KazMSA from August to September, 2017 our university accepted one student from the University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics named after  Victor Babesh for training.

On March 19-20, 2018 the Department of Physical Training of KSMU was visited  by 2 teachers from the Yasky University named after A.I. Kuza: Beatriz Aurelia and Florentina Libya.

During  the stay  Chezar Manole Armeanu visited the museum of KSMU then there was held a meeting with the rector of the KSMU R. S. Dosmagambetova, provost (the first vice rector) Vaiva Hendrikson and also with the representatives of administration, the faculty and students who expressed their gratitude to the Ambassador for  warm welcome in Romania during the training. "Cooperation between our university and the universities of Romania will be obligatory, successful and fruitful.", - Raushan Sultanovna noted.

KSMU expresses profound gratitude to the Ambassador for visit of our higher education institution and also for support in cooperation between our countries.
