Academic mobility: surgery without borders
At the present stage of
development, academic mobility is the most effective method of increasing the
level of education to world standards and the development of research work.
In the period from May 14, 1981 to May 25, 2013, the head of the Department of Surgical Diseases No. 1 of the Karaganda State Medical University Kairat Tanabaevich Shakeev was on the program of academic mobility at the Department of Surgical Diseases No. 1 of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University. During his stay at the department, he conducted 4 classes on surgical diseases in the amount of 58 hours according to the established calendar thematic plan. He gave lectures in the volume of 8 hours on the most topical issues of surgery: "Acute appendicitis, complication of acute appendicitis", "Complication of peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum", "Gallstone disease", "Acute intestinal obstruction".
The designated goal of academic mobility is to improve the quality of education through the international integration of medical universities, was achieved in full for this period.
