The work of the club was aimed at maximizing the individual abilities of students from India to master the basic level of Russian language, to teach them how to communicate with adults and peers in Russian. Classes were conducted because of various types of subject-practical activities: games, singing, dancing. The program was designed for 1 year, once a week, for 60-90 minutes, a club class was held on Saturdays. Most of the program was practical.

The result of this activity was the increase in the level of spoken Russian among foreign students, which contributes to their easier implementation in the student and study environment.

We recall that WELCOME Center was opened in KSMU in October 2017 as a part of the Erasmus + "WELCOME: Opening towards new university international communities". The main functions of the center are:

- Visa support for foreign students and professors;

- Organization of residence of foreigners;

- Transfer from the place of arrival to the place of residence;

- Access to the campus, library (monitoring of foreign students, preparation of a library card, entrance card, access to Wi-Fi);

- Language courses (courses of Russian and Kazakh languages);

- Cultural events (excursions around the city of Karaganda, excursions to Astana, Almaty, other tourist places);

- sports sections and clubs (organization of participation of foreigners in sporting events);

- Orientation meetings for foreign students.

The Department of International Cooperation expresses its great gratitude to the WELCOME Center volunteers for their assistance in organizing and conducting all the cultural, recreational, accompanying and educational events of the center. We express special gratitude to the leader of the volunteers of the center, Kamila Myrzakhmetova, for her hard and long work. As a gratitude to Kamila Myrzahmetova, by the decision of the meeting of the commission for the selection of students for sending to study abroad, including in the framework of academic mobility, we provide an opportunity to participate in the program of academic mobility to practice at the State University named after Akaki Tsereteli (Georgia, Kutaisi).
