International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of Medicine" and "Satellite forum on public health and health policy" was on the 2-3 of May, 2018  in  Baku city , Republic of Azerbaijan held the Seventh." The purpose of this event is to contribute to the coordinated work of young doctors of Azerbaijan and foreign countries. The conference is organized by the Public Organization "Young Doctors of Azerbaijan" with the official partnership of the West Kazakhstan State Medical University, the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy and the Kharkov National Medical University.

The conference was attended by students, interns, undergraduates and doctoral students of  Karaganda State Medical University.

According to the results of the event in the competition among students Damir Saipov, 3rd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry, for the report «Effect of smartphone devices overuse by medical university students of Karaganda in relation to clinical status of hand» was awarded the I place in the competition for the best design research work among young scientists; 5^th year students of General Medicine and Dentistry Department Karina Muntayeva for the report "Nitric oxide metabolites content in the blood of patients with various forms of peptic ulcer disease" and Gulzhan Makayeva for the report "Evaluation of DAI-index in 12 years of children in Karaganda" were awarded II place in the competition for the best design of research work among young scientists; Alikhan Sattarov, 3rd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry, for his report "Influence on water, carbonated drinks and electrolyte balance" was awarded the III place in the competition for a creative approach to the development of scientific and research work. Emiliya Azizova, 7^th year of  intern obstetrician-gynecologist, with report "Psychological and physiological preparation women during pregnancy" was awarded the I place for the best design of scientific research among young scientists in  competition among the interns.

All participants of the conference received certificates of participation. We would like to express special gratitude to the administration of KSMU, in the person of the rector R.S.
