On April 25, 2018, delegation from the North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) visited the Karaganda State Medical University: Dean of the Faculty of Pre-University Education and Career Orientation Svetlana Vasilevna Fedorova and Chief Specialist of the Center for Cooperation with Educational Institutions of Faculty of Pre-University Education and Career Orientation Obutova Aksinia Dmitrievna.

The purpose of the visit of the delegation was to conduct agitation meeting with interns of the 6th, 7th courses of the KSMU to offer budgetary places for training in residency programs. The delegation met with students in 329 classroom. Also, there was signed an Agreement on cooperation between Karaganda State Medical University and North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov for the development of cooperation in the field of student exchange for academic mobility programs.

Within the framework of the visit, the guests were introduced to the Museum of History of the KSMU, the Department of International Cooperation, the Deanery of General Medicine and Dentistry of the KSMU. The guests met the Head of the International Cooperation Department S.B. Kassymova, also Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry V.B. Tashkenbaeva, Deputy Dean of the General Medicine and Stomatology Department S. B. Sharapiyeva.
