Visit of the Professor Peter Borbely from the University of Debrecen (Hungary) at the KSMU

to May 05, 2018 Peter Borbely, professor from the University of Debrecen
(Hungary) visited Karaganda State Medical University.
During the visit, Professor conducted lectures to students and practical classes at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Surgical Dentistry of KSMU, also shared experience, knowledge and established friendly relations with faculty members.
Professor met with the Professor Dosmagambetova Raushan Sultanovna, Rector of KSMU. Raushan Sultanovna presented the book to the Professor as a gift about the memory of the victims of political repression in the KarLag Corrective Labor Camp, which was one of the largest Gulag labor camps, located in Karaganda region.
The Department of International Cooperation organized the visit to the Center of Practical Skills, Anatomy Museum of the KSMU. Also, Professor visited the museum of victims of political repression KarLAG.
In the future, KSMU plans to expand cooperation with universities in Hungary.
