On May 4, 2018 on the basis of the Karaganda State Medical University the Championship on the decision of business cases "Kemel Kasipker" within the framework of the project of development of entrepreneurship in education ERG - the project on support of young entrepreneurs-students, organized by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken", Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development - "Almaty Management University", ERG.

"Kemel kasipker" - championship on the solution of business cases. This competition is a series of business games, during which students offer possible ways to solve various business problems.

Goals of the business game:

- popularization of entrepreneurship as an effective life strategy in the youth environment, as well as the development of the potential of youth in the economic and entrepreneurial spheres;

- formation of connections between students with different competencies;

- development of students' skills in teamwork and project presentation.

The championship started on the creation of projects with the fact that the coordinator for the introduction and development of entrepreneurial education in the KSMU Saule Rakhimzhanovna Zhakenova briefly introduced everyone to the course of the event and presented the participants to the jury members.

The jury consisted of: leading specialist of ERG Gulmira Mathalikova, Phd, member of RPA "Atameken" of Karaganda region, Serikzhan Baibosynov, vice-rector for Educational and Methodical Work of KSMU Viktor Petrovich Riklefs, project manager of AlmaU Asem Kabulova and coordinator for introduction and development of entrepreneurial education in KSMU Saule Rakhimzhanovna Zhakenova. Upon completion of the acquaintance with the jury members, the following were carried out: orientation on the Championship program, analysis of the contest criteria, provision of cases to the captains of teams and words of farewell from the jury members.

Project Manager of AlmaU Asem Kabulova: "The solution of such business cases, close to the Kazakh business, at this age, allows you to try what you will face in the future. I would like to thank ERG for this opportunity. I also want to express my gratitude to all the participants of the Championship for their active participation in the project. For the Championship, experts prepared cases from the practice of companies that the students had to solve. The participants had the opportunity to act as management consultants and assess the correctness of the goals set taking into account the existing situation in the company, assess the risks of achieving the set goals. Students were able to apply their theoretical knowledge, try on professional roles, and improve analytical and evaluation skills, learn to work in a team and find the most rational solution to the problem. The guys designed their proposals in the form of presentations and defended their decisions before competent experts.

Summing up the results of the "Kemel Kasipker" Championship, the jury noted that the guys, analyzing the business cases, saw what problems the Kazakh business community has, acquired critical thinking skills, presentations, gained certain experience and confidence.

Vice-rector for Educational and Methodical Work of the KSMU Victor Petrovich Riklefs: "It is unusual for medical students to solve economic cases: to solve in an extraordinary way, using the most unexpected approaches."

AlmaU project manager Asem Kabulova: "Indeed, you surprised us all today with your approaches to the implementation of business cases!".

The results of the contest "Kemel Kasipker" were also quite unexpected. The winners of the project were two teams: Lollipop: Elvira Zhidebay, Erkin Abdikerem, Zhaya Kenesbek and Rysbek Kenzhebek, and Ancients: Timur Korobeinikov, Sanzhar Kusainov, Timur Eskendirov, Azamat Kakenov and Elina Pak.

The jury decided to choose from each team the brightest participants: from the team Lollipop Elvira Zhidebay and Erkin Abdikerem, and from the team Ancients - Timur Korobeinikov and Timur Eskendirov. Also, the jury noted one of the members of the Green team - Vladislav Isaev, who was also asked to come out to the winners. These guys received the main prize of the project - a trip to the camp BootCamp Kazakhstan - the first in Kazakhstan BootCamp for beginning entrepreneurs, in which the students will have 56 hours of extra-intensive work in the "sit down and do" mode to create their own business.
