Issues of future medicine in the Arcticare discussed at the NSMU
On April 25, 2018, V
International Youth Medical Forum "Medicine of the Future - the
Arctic" began its work at the Northern State Medical University, which
included the traditional XI Arkhangelsk International Medical Scientific
Conference of Young Scientists and Students. The main goal of the forum is to
provide young scientists and students with the opportunity to exchange
scientific ideas, experience, and to present themselves and their works. In
addition, it is good opportunity for future and beginner physicians to gain invaluable
experience
Vice-rector for scientific and innovative work of the NSMU S.I. Malyavskaya, in her speech, noted: "The location of the Northern State Medical University has largely determined the vector of scientific research. Problems related to the Arctic theme, occupy a leading place in the scientific development and research of the university. ".
28 thematic symposiums were held within the framework of the XI Arkhangelsk International Medical Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Students; the fourth year student of the Department of General Medicine and Dentistry Nargiz Kopbaeva delivered a report on the topic "Self-assestment of dental health" (scientific adviser of the cms, Associate Professor S.T. Tuleutaeva, co-author - 5th year student of the General Medicine and Dentistry Department R. Garifullina) at the symposium "Problems of dentistry".
Modern forms of work such as webinars, master classes, mastering practical skills, exhibition booths, sightseeing tours and much more were organized.
On April 26, 2018, the work of the Forum continued in the format of master classes. Scientists shared their experience, knowledge, latest innovative developments. Within the framework of the Forum was V scientific and practical conference in memory of M.V. Lomonosov in English.
