On April 26, the Youth Affairs Department together with the Faculty of Public Health, Biology and Pharmacy and activists of SR "Samruk" conducted a mass flash mob dedicated to the "European Immunization Week".

  The purpose of the action with the slogan "Vaccines work to protect you!" to draw the public attention to immunization as one of the main preventive measures to protect the population from infectious diseases.

  Immunization saves millions of lives around the world and has long been recognized as one of the most effective means in the field of health.

  Karaganda State Medical University has traditionally taken a very active part in the "European Immunization Week".

  Every year at the end of April, KSMU conducts the round tables, discussions, flash mobs and seminars on the importance of immunization, the video broadcasts are organized on the educational TV and actively collaborates with the media.

  Almost three dozen young men and girls took part in the flash mob. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the participants of the group of modern dance "Yes-team" (head Knaus Anton), the students of KSMU contributed to the education of the population of Karaganda on the need for universal immunization.

  It is important to remember that timely vaccinating yourself and your relatives, you warn the development of a dangerous disease and are guaranteed to protect yourself from the risk of severe complications.
