Within the framework of academic mobility from 16.04.2018. to 27.04.2018, by me, assistant professor of the Phthisiology Department  Zh. Mutaykhan, classes were held with students of the 4th year of the Faculty of Medicine in the discipline "Phthisiology" in the Bukhara State Medical Institute. During the stay, I got acquainted with the base of the Phthisiology Department and the educational documentation of the department. I gave lectures on the problems of focal, infiltrative and destructive forms of tuberculosis, in accordance with the thematic plan. During the practical exercises active teaching methods, such as TBL and CBL were used. Detailed active methods of teaching with teaching staff of the department were discussed. The open lecture "Pathogenesis and classification of tuberculosis" was participated by responsible for the phthisiology course B.R. Muazzamovna.

  I also visited the instructional  center for developing the practical skills of the department and the information and resource center based on the ATD of Bukhara. I have met the rector of the Bukhara State Medical University L.Sh. Inoyatova, and also took part in the signing ceremony of a memorandum on a further cooperation plan between Bukhara SMI (Uzbekistan) and KSMU (Kazakhstan). Colleagues from the Bukhara SMI organized for me a tour of the sights, historical and architectural monuments of the city of Bukhara. The host country in general held the organization of my stay at a high level, provided personal and academic support during the exchange program.

 I express special gratitude to the rector of the KSMU, Professor R.S. Dosmagambetova, vice-rector for Strategic Development, Science and International Cooperation, A.A.Turmukhambetova, dean of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry V.B.Tashkenbaeva, head of the Department of Phthisiology N.S. Tabriz and to all employees of the Department of International Cooperation for assistance in organizing the trip.
