The Olympiad for the discipline "Psychiatry"dedicated to the 104th anniversary of the birth of the founder of the Departmentof Psychiatry and Narcology Professor A. M. Svyadosch

On april 23, 2018 the results of the Olympiad in the discipline "Psychiatry" among students of KSMUwere summed up, which was held in the period from 14.04 to 20.04 2018The Olympiad was held in 3 stages: the first stage – qualifying, which was held in the form of testing. The second stage consisted of writing an ESSAY and a written exam, the third stage took the form of a clinical exam and was evaluated by a Committee of teachers. The Olympiad was attended by 28 students and interns of various training areas.

According to the results of the qualifying test in the second stage there were 16 participants who were invited to write an ESSAY on their chosen topics: "Role and place of psychiatry in modern medicine", "The importance of the integration of psychiatry with somatic medicine", "The value of my knowledge of psychiatry for my future professional activity."

  According to the results of the written exam in the third stage there were 6 students of which winners of the competition were selected: 1st place –Ludmila Tsoi 6-067 GM, 2nd place – Gulnaz Tubanova 5-020 GM, 3rd place – Alikhan Evloev 7-067 GM.

  Tsoi Ludmila demonstrated excellent knowledge of psychiatry, clinical thinking skills, showed excellent communication skills and was a leader from the first stage of the Olympiad!

  Students who demonstrated non-standard thinking, creativity and the ability to formulate thoughts when writing an essay: MadinaAlibekkyzy 5-019, Didar Ospanov 5-020, Adil Abdul 6-072, Azamat Ahmetov 7-050, VictoriaBodraya 7-068  were awarded individual gifts.

  The Department of Psychiatry and Narcology thanks all participants of the Olympiad for their interest and training and wishes further success in training and future professional activities.
