Frank Haamann, specialist of the Service of Senior Experts (Germany) visited
the Department of Children's Infectious Diseases on 12.04.2018. The professor
delivered his lecture on the prevention of blood-borne and airborne infections.
The most of the audience consisted of interns and residents of 1st and 2nd years of study, and this information was in addition to their knowledge. At the end of the lecture, a discussion and exchange of views on the epidemiological situation of HIV infection and viral hepatitis B and C in the Karaganda region took place between Professor F. Haamann and the staff of the department, headed by the head of the department, Professor R.Kh. Begaydarova.
