Academic mobility in the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Kh.A. Yasawi (IKTU)
Academic mobility is one of the most important activities of
the Karaganda State Medical University. It helps to improve the management
system, establish external and internal integration links, fulfill the mission
of the university: "the leader in the field of medical education, focused
on the formation of a specialist that meets the requirements of the best world
practice for ensuring the health of the nation." This, in the final analysis, improves the
quality of education, raises not only the effectiveness of the research work of
students and faculty, but also their professional, cultural and educational
levels.
From 26.03.2018. to 06.04.2018. in the framework of academic mobility programs, the teacher of the Immunology and Allergology Department Gaziza Temiralievna Abuova visited the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Kh.A. Yasawi.
The discipline "General Immunology" in this university is taught at the Department of Emergency Medical Care. Discipline is read to the 2nd year students of the specialty "General Medicine" and the specialty "Dentistry".
G.T. Abuova held practical classes on the following topics:
- calculation of the leukocyte formula, leukogram and immunogram analysis, EIA method;
- primary and secondary immunodeficiency states, immunodiagnosis of AIDS;
- HLA system, the basis of transplantation immunity;
- immunogenetic aspects of carcinogenesis, basic principles
and immunocorrection;
-pathogenesis, laboratory diagnostics, clinical manifestations of atopic allergy.
In addition, during the classes, the principles of scientific approach, the connection between theory and practice, systematism and consistency were used.
Practical exercises were conducted using command-oriented training of TBL, training based on the clinical case of CBL.
The work of the teacher G.T.Abuova highly appreciated by the management of the IKTU named after Kh.A. Yasawi: the professionalism, pedagogical skills, content, relevance and practical orientation of the classes conducted by
G.T. Abuova are emphasized.
