. I accepted an invitation with great satisfaction to visit the Department of Biology and Medical Genetics of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino from 14.03 to 3.04 2018.

The history of the Institute dates back to October 1990, now it is headed by Dr. PhD Amrillo Shodievich Inayatov, who has big plans to expand and modernize the institute.

At our meeting, Amrilo Shodievich spoke about the plans for the leadership of the institute to update it and the prospects for further cooperation between our medical universities. The rector of the Bukhara Medical Institute expressed gratitude to Raushan Sultanovna Dosmagambetova for her cooperation and practical assistance to their young but promising University.

  During my stay in Bukhara lectures were given and practical classes were conducted with students of the Pediatric and Dental Faculties in molecular biology: apoptosis, pharmacogenetics, ecogenetics, Hardy-Weienberg law and others. Parasitology: type protozoa, group of worms. The subjects of the lectures were varied. Lectures aroused a lot of questions among students and were discussed additionally in practical classes.

  My old dream of seeing the old Bukhara, where the hotbed of dracunculiasis was eradicated, was realized. At present, much has changed since that time. The houses in the old Bukhara, where the historical part of the city is now, do not play the role of habitat for the causative agent of the disease and intermediate hosts, but the history of the devastation of rishta is known to all students and residents of Bukhara.

  I would like to express special gratitude and words of gratitude to the rector of the Bukhara Medical Institute Amrillo Shodievich Inayatova; the head of the International Department Gaukhar Zhanuzakovna Zharylkasynova for the warm meeting., the Head of the Department of Histology, Rahmon Davronovich Dovronov and my tutor, assistant professor Abdurakhim Naimovich Zulfikorov for the organization of the educational process.

  I wish all my colleagues, students and employees of the Institute health, prosperity, success in studying and preparing the future highly qualified specialists.
