On March 15, 2018 "The XIII International Pirogovsky scientific medical conference" took place at the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov in Moscow. In this action students and young scientists from Russia and the countries of the FSU and beyond could present the scientific works in 21 sections. RNRMU of N.I. Pirogov - the only international medical school of Russia which was conferred the category of the National research university. Scientific activity of RNRMU includes both researches on the priority directions of science, and the international cooperation with the leading biomedical centers of the world.

Reports in the section "General Surgery, Transplantology, Traumatology and Orthopedics, Urology" were presented by students of KSMU: Islambek Musabekov (7-014), Aysulu Tleukulova (6-017) and Pavel Ivachyov (5-106). MD, professor Mikhail Dmitrievich Ter-Ovanesov was the chairman of the section. The excellent organization of an action, also participation in work of a conference attracted attention, students could attend lectures and a forsayt-session for future doctors.
