In cold January, the average temperature is +10 degrees. For the winter, there is a large part of the rainfall, namely, rain. Yes, the winter in Porto is raining, not snow. The city is on the shore of the ocean, because the air here is always wet, marine and wildly useful.

The main and almost the only major university is the University of Porto. The University of Porto is one of the three leading Portuguese universities and one of the foremost universities in Europe.

The Public Health Institute of the University of Porto (ISPUP) is engaged in the creation and dissemination of high quality and competitive knowledge in a wide field of public health. The public health master's program, obtained as a result of a partnership between the University of Portо Medical School and Karaganda State Medical University, emphasizes the description and analysis of national health problems, which details etiological and intervention factors, whether ecological, psychosocial or biological. The study and application of methods of epidemiology, biostatistics and social sciences becomes more in-depth, which facilitates the interconnection of research and practice, preventive and curative at the individual and collective levels. The Faculty of Public Health consists of a team of highly qualified teachers, as well as other administrative research resources and tools, including those available at the Institute of Public Health, which contribute to the high quality of the program.

The training was conducted in English, some exams were given in English. The learning process is quite intense and interesting. The Master's program in Public Health specializes in the areas of medical statistics, epidemiology and administration. In our schedule there were mainly public health disciplines, such as "Health Policy", "Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle", "Biostatistics", "Individual Project", "Epidemiology".
