Education of residents of the specialty "Obstetrics and gynecology, including children’s" in the CF "University Medical Center" within the academic mobility program.
Within the framework of the program of academic mobility, 10 resident-physicians
in the specialty "Obstetrics and Gynecology, including Children's"

M.B.Sharipova, I.M.Zhylkibaeva, A.A.Iskendir, K.K.Shortanbaeva, A.E.Temirbayeva
visited the corporate fund’s branch "University Medical Center" of
the “National Science Center of Motherhood and Childhood” in Astana, from
11.02.2018 to 07.03.2018. The cycle "Gynecology in hospital 2" was
held on the basis of the department of female diseases. At the beginning of the
education, there was given a briefing on the JCI system and on safety.
During the work in the center, resident-doctors had assisted in operations, conducted a survey and examination of the patients of the department, participated in morning rounds, worked with medical documentation, got acquainted with modern methods of infertility treatment, uterine fibroids, stress urinary incontinence, etc. Resident-doctors got acquainted and took part in operations such as loop urethropexy (TVT-O), laparoscopic amputation and extirpation of the uterus with prosthetic mesh fixation, uterine artery embolization, salpingostomy and many others.
In addition, the Department of Women's Diseases NSCM&Ch receives patients
with diseases and lesions of the mammary glands, requiring surgical treatment.
These operations: mastectomy, sectoral resection of the breast, were also
conducted with the participation of resident-physicians of our University.
Residents attended a course of lectures on the topics "Retrocervical
endometriosis", "Basics of hysteroscopy" “Basics of
laparoscopy", "Myoma of the uterus", "Acute
abdomen"(in aspects of laparoscopy), participated in the morning
conferences, in the meetings of CID.
Also they were introduced the work of ECO Center, conducted the reception of
patients, took part in the procedure of puncture of the follicles.
During the education, residents of our university established friendly
relations with residents of the NSCM&Ch. Throughout the cycle there were
very favorable conditions for fruitful work at the center. In conclusion, all
the resident-doctors returned from the trip with positive emotions. We would
like to express our gratitude to the Administration of Karaganda State Medical
University for the opportunity to study in the framework of the "Academic
Mobility" program at the NSCM&Ch in Astana. Special thanks to the
