On March 5, 2018 the monitoring of the project "Transition to university autonomy in Kazakhstan" (TRUNAK) of the Erasmus+ program  was held at KSMU by Shaizada Tasbulatova the director of the National Office of the Erasmus + in Kazakhstan and Zhanar Kazbekova deputy director.

The purpose of the monitoring is to get acquainted with the activities and results of the project, discuss the existing problems and operational and financial difficulties, and determine the ways to solve them.

Representatives of the Ministry of Health of the RK and five Kazakhstan universities took part in the monitoring, represented by the rector of KSMU Raushan Dosmagambetova, rector of Manash Kozybayev North Kazakshtan State University Serik Omirbayev, rector of West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov State Medical University Yerbol Bekmukhambetov as well as vice-rectors of universities represented  by the vice-rector of KSMU A.A. Turmukhambetova, vice-rector of KSMU V.P. Ricklefs, vice-rector of Astana Medical University Yermek Akhmetov, vice-rector of WKSMU after M.Ospanov G.A. Smagulova, vice-rector of KEUK R.O. Bugubaeva, vice-rector of ASU G.S. Zharasova. During the meeting, the project partners discussed the progress of the project.

The members of the project working group prepared presentations on working packages to familiarize the audience with the progress of work. The presentations noted the goals and objectives of the project, the relevance of the project objectives, the effectiveness, the prevalence and potential for sustainable development. After the participants' speech, a joint discussion was organized in order to achieve the results of the TRUNAK project.
