Academic mobility of residents in the specialty "Medical rehabilitation, including children's" in KazMСЕ in Almaty
In
the period from January 15 to January 27, 2018, within the framework of
academic mobility, 2nd year residents in the specialty "Medical
Rehabilitation, including Children" - Inzhu Beibutovna Smagulova, Eduard
Germanovich Varushkin completed the elective discipline "medical
massage" at the Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education of
Almaty, which was held on the basis of sanatorium SO Okzhetpes of the Office of
the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Almaty-Resort" and the
City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Almaty. On the first day of our stay in Almaty,
we got acquainted with the administration of the university, the vicerector for
academic work, Saule Temirbulatovna Doskozhaeva, the head of the Department of Residency
- MD, Associate Professor Zhanar Myrzagalievna Andasova, and also with the head
of the Department of Rheumatology, and Medical Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine
doctor rehabilitologist - Saule Damirovna Yesengarayeva, who supervised us
throughout the academic mobility. During the training, a course of lectures on
the theory of medical massage was listened to, and practical skills were also
developed. We were able to participate in the initial examination of patients
and appointment of therapeutic massage for various nosologies, the registration
of patients in the electronic database "Avicenna." During the cycle,
they also got acquainted with innovative technologies for rehabilitation: the
use of "Artromot" in joint contracture, with work on the "Red
cord" suspension system, verticalization on the "Manumed",
"Lokohelp". We got acquainted with the work of rehabilitation
departments: physiotherapy, hydropathic institutions, exercise therapy room and
kinesitherapy, sensory room. We would like to note the benevolence and
excellent attitude of the administration and residents of KazMCE, sanatorium SO
Okzhetpes of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
"Almaty-Resort" and City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Almaty and thank
for the provided practical material and wide coverage of theoretical issues, a
friendly atmosphere of cooperation in class, the interest of the teaching staff
in transferring the experience of knowledge - which left very pleasant
impressions.
Medical activity requires constant replenishment of knowledge and development of professional skills. It is this task that 2nd year residents in the "Medical rehabilitation, including children's" specialty carried out in the academic mobility .
