Together against cancer
On February 2, the Center of Healthy Lifestyle of KSMU
together with the participants of SR "Samruk" conducted a student
flash mob dedicated to the World Cancer Day.
Cancer is the common name of a whole group of oncological diseases, in which the body cells begin uncontrolled growth and division. As a rule, these diseases end in a lethal outcome without treatment.
At the Eve of the World Cancer Day, the activists of SR "Samruk" held a flash mob in order to draw the attention of students and employees of the KSMU to the problem of the spread of cancer and thus contribute to the fight against this terrible disease.
"The main message of our action is that cancer is not a verdict, but a curable disease if it is diagnosed in time," said F.A.Batirov, chairman of the Center of Healthy Lifestyle of KSMU. Almost a dozen and a half students - future doctors, took part in the event.
Summing up, all participants unanimously recognized that in the process of preparing the event they learned a lot of new and useful things for themselves.
