24 January 2018

Within an external academic mobility, we 4th year students of specialty "General Medicine" – Sabina Shaimerdenova, Ayaulym Syzdykova, Sanazar Kadyr, Baurzhan Tursynbay, Adilet Askarov, Olzhas Mussalі, Madina Fermebek and Aiman Bidayshieva, passed cycle of "Fundamentals of Internal Diseases" in the “Graduate school of Management in Barcelona”.

GSM Barcelona was founded as a pan-European institution that collaborates not only with universities throughout Eastern and Western Europe, but also with the universities of the former Soviet republics.

While studying we learnt and passed not only the curriculum of discipline, but also modern methods of diagnosis and prevention of common diseases in Spain and all of Europe's population, the basics of the Spanish language of the level A1 as well as the basic principles of management in European healthcare.

Upgraded equipment and technology, the difference in training approaches, qualified doctors, teachers, the difference in mentality and incomparably beautiful city - all this we were able to comprehend during this period.

In addition to the studying of our program, we got to know more about the city's cultural life, and the famous architecture of Barcelona - creation of Antonio Gaudí. We have visited lots of historically significant places - the Arc de Triumph, bunkers of the Second World War, magnificent parks, museums and the most beautiful places of the city - Mount Tibidabo, magical fountains of "Montjuic" and many other unforgettable places.

We are very grateful to our university for their amazing cooperation and work, for giving us this amazing chance and opportunity to have this new experience.

Students of 4th course of the “General medicine” speciality: Madina Fermebek, Olzhas Mussali
