On December 24, the final concert of the Republican dance contest "Step forward 2017" was held in Karaganda.

Almost half a thousand participants  from Karaganda, North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar and other regions of Kazakhstan took part in the festival of dance.

According to organizers, the main purpose of the event is the search for creative teams that have reached a high level of stage culture and skills and gifted performers.

Karaganda State Medical University was represented by the participants of the folk ensemble of oriental dance "Karakoz" under the leadership of M.E.Kosybayeva.

According to the contest, all collectives were able to perform only one number.

The jury of the contest ,which consisted of  prominent experts in the fields of culture and education of the region, strictly assessed the technique of execution of movements, the compositional construction of the performance, the accordance of the repertoire to the style of the ensemble and the acting skills.

Having evaluated the plasticity and artistry of our girls, the competent jury unanimously awarded the first place in the nomination "Choreography" to the folk ensemble of oriental dance "Karakoz".Honorary Diploma II degree was awarded to the solo performance by Iskender Nurgali and Kaiyrbekova Aidana.
