In the framework of academic mobility from 15.09.17 - to 29.12.17 we, the students of the 4th year of the Faculty of General medicine and Dentistry, dwelt on the basis of the Tyumen State Medical University. On the first day in Tyumen, the University administration has placed us in one of the best hostels of TumSMU. We had a tour of the main building of TumSMU, where we met with the University of administration, especially Vice-rector for educational and methodical work, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor Vasilkova Tatiana Nikolaevna. We also met with the Dean of Pediatric Faculty, who throughout the academic mobility was in charge: Sergey Sakharov, dean of Pediatric Faculty, Candidate of Medical Sciences Lyudmila V. Hanipova – deputy dean of the Pediatric Faculty. Nadezhda Egorova – manager of the Dean's Office of the Pediatric Faculty. Elena Petrovna Ashikhmina  - deputy dean for the senior courses. I want to note the kindness and wonderful attitude of the administration and students of TumSMU.

On the basis of TumSMU we passed clinical courses: Internal diseases and Pediatrics, as well as a foreign language. In our view it is noteworthy that the first two disciplines were literally at the beds of patients. Thanks to this we were able to extract invaluable experience for future activities. Seminars were often held in the form of conversation, examinations in oral form for tickets. Evaluation was performed on a 5-point score .

At the meeting with Vice-rector for educational and methodical work, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tatiana Nikolaevna Vasilchikova, we heard about the history of the University, about the educational programs, training and social life of the university. We, in turn, told about our institution and about our system of education.

This is the first example of such a long exchange in cooperation with the Karaganda Medical University, commented the Dean of the Pediatric Faculty of the Tyumen State Medical University, Candidate of Medical Sciences Sergey Sakharov. Last year students from Karaganda came for 2 weeks. At this time, medical students from Kazakhstan have been trained at our university during the entire semester.

We worked in groups of different levels of training according to our individual timetable, cycles took place with the students of 4-6 years of Tyumen University to cover all the disciplines that we needed.

Students of the Tyumen State Medical University helped us in order to adapt quickly to new environment and educational process in the Tyumen State Medical University.  A student of the 6th year of the Pediatric Faculty of the Tyumen State Medical University Bilol Solohiddinov  also helped us to accustom on a new place. We have learned from the trip: new knowledge, informative tours of Tyumen, the exchange of experience and friendly contacts. Thank you for giving us the opportunity.
