We are 4^th year students of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry: Zulfugar Abdullaev, Dauletbay Aytzhanov, Gulnaz Aldiyar, Sabina Valieva, Pavel Merentsov, Anastassiya Khrol, Gulnaz Smagulova, Rafiz Khamitov, we studied as exchange students during the autumn semester in Ryazan State Medical University named after I.P. Pavlov. The university holds the 6^th place among universities of the RF, which conducts exchange of experience with students from 46 countries, including Kazakhstan.

We studied disciplines as «Obstetrics and Gynecology» and «Surgical diseases». Thanks to professors and teachers with high teaching qualifications we easily mastered theoretic bases and practical knowledge. We are able to use our theoretical knowledge during the practice. We didn’t just study, but also participated in cultural events. The university also presented russian traditions, culture, historical monuments and biography of the famous scientists and writers from Ryazan: I. P. Pavlov, S. A. Yesenin, K. E. Tsiolkovsky.

The university made it possible for us to go to the sport sections. We especially enjoyed language time which was organized by students, due to which we were able to develop our language skills with foreigners, and discuss topical medical subjects of the countries as: Brazil, Italy, Serbia, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Cameroon and etc.

For the given opportunity and support we express our deep gratitude to the Rector of KSMU, Professor R. S. Dosmagambetova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and International Cooperation, Professor A. A. Turmukhambetova and the Department of the International Cooperation. In addition, we would like to thank the International Cooperation Department of Ryazan State Medical University and our tutor, assistant professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases Irina Apolonovna Podyablonskaya.
