3rd Iranian International Congress on congenital and structural heart diseases

In the city of Mashhad of the Islamic Republic of Iran, there was held the 3rd Iranian International Congress on congenital and structural heart diseases, Caspian Meeting 2017, where Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Therapeutic Disciplines of the KSMU, Candidate of Medical Science, Gaukhar Tleubekovna Igimbaeva was invited as moderator. This congress was organized by Razavi Hospital in cooperation with the CSI Foundation.

The meeting provided an extensive overview of reports on catheter therapy of congenital, structural and valvular heart diseases, echocardiography and other cardiac imaging methods specially developed for adult and pediatric interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and anaesthesiologists.

This congress provided a unique opportunity for establishing strong international contacts with doctors, scientists and developers of medical equipment, discussion of the latest news in the field of cardiology in a live interactive environment. The program included 80 lectures by leading experts in this field, about 15 real-time demonstrations, master classes and interactive sessions on Fetal and TAVI Focus Imaging, as well as additional sessions on septal device occlusion, valve implantation and various stenting methods.

Thanks to the fact that the congress meetings were held on the basis of the unique medical center Razavi, which amazes with its incredible scale and level of medical equipment and personnel qualifications, an amazing friendly atmosphere was maintained throughout the event. Thus, specialists and scientific figures of all countries, invited to this grand event, received an excellent opportunity to integrate and strengthen international relations, as well as mastering the latest achievements of medicine in the field of cardiology.
