Scientific and practical internship of teachers in Lund University, Sweden
In November 2017 the teachers of our university had a two-week
scientific and practical internship at Lund University (Lund, Sweden).
University of Lund, one of the most famous in the field of scientific research, has a great potential and a wide range of opportunities in this field, and also in the top of the best 100 universities of the world.
Since 2016 Lund University is a strategic partner of our university. Training on "Academic writing and project management" was conducted using interactive teaching methods. The cycle was conducted by eminent professors of Lund University, such as Per-Olof Östergren, Prof. Kristian Widén, Dr.Sc. Jessica Abbott. Dr. Margaret Newman-Nowicka, Ann Kull, Dr. Kamshat Tussupova.
The following teachers participated in the internship: Y.I. Niyazova, I.B.Meyermanova, A.B. Marchenko, I.K. Zhumabekova, A.V. Lyubchenko, D.N. Matyushko,
V.A. Zhumalieva, B.K. Toleubekov, T.S. Slobodchikova, D.K. Kaliyeva. In the process of training, each teacher prepared and defended their project. There was an opportunity to attend the defense of a doctoral thesis. After the completion of the training program, the participants received the Lund University certificate.
As part of the cultural program, the teachers visited the main sights of the city of Lund: The Lund Cathedral (Lunds domkyrka), The “Kulturen” Museum, The Maria Minor church (Sancta Maria Minor kyrka), Ostra Vallgatan botanical garden.
We sincerely thank the rector of our university, Prof. Raushan Sultanovna Dosmagambetova, and the vice-rector for strategic development, science and international cooperation Anar Akylbekovna Turmuhambetova for the opportunity to study abroad, improve professional skills in the field of scientific research.
