The Independence Day of  Kazakhstan is the main state holiday, which has been celebrated annually  since  December 16, 1991.

On December 13, in the eve of this holiday, there was held an event dedicated to 26-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of the month of Kazakh Language at the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases under the guidance of head of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases, Professor R. H. Begaydarova.

During the event students, interns-pediatricians and residents presented creative acts, acquainted the audience with the Kazakh culture and history. Hosts of the event were intern of the 6-031 group Ashen Adilet and student of the 4-035 group Konyrbaeva Akmaral. In the concert program there was presented a video of intern of the 6-027 group Leshan Saulenur showing the chronology of the formation and development of our country. Student  of the 4-081 group Gofman Sabina performed great Kazakh national dance. Intern of the 6-031 group  Dinara Kasenova prepared an interactive game which is aimed at consolidating knowledge of the history of Kazakhstan. Hearts of all viewers were touched by the poem about the thorny path to Independence, written by an intern pediatrician of the 6-027 group Agibek Nurbek. Interns of the 6-018 group Gabagenov Dias and Zhaigaraev Erzat 6-042 group played inspiring Kazakh folk kuy.

The concert ended with a song "Atameken" performed by all participants of the concert.

Guests of the concert congratulated the audience with the upcoming holidays, and gave commemorative words to the students.
