On December 21, 2017, the KSMU hosted a meeting of graduates with employers of the Kostanay region, which was attended by 40 representatives of medical organizations of the Kostanay region and students of graduate courses: bachelors in "Pharmacy", "Nursing", "Public Health" specialties, graduates of the 7th year internship of the "General Medicine" specialty, which concluded employment contracts with medical organizations of Kostanay region, and graduates of the residency.

The main goal of the event was conclusion of employment contracts with graduates of bachelor's degree, residency, and consolidation of contracts for employment with interns of the 7th year.

The vice-rector for Clinical Work and Continuous Professional Development Bakhyt Nurgalievna Kosherova made a welcoming speech, her speech was continued by ZaureErkinovna  Zhumabaeva, the head of the Department of control and personnel work organization of the Healthcare of Kostanay region. She detailed the audience with each medical organization of the Kostanay region, noted the shortage of medical personnel in the specialties: obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, anesthesiology and resuscitation, cardiology, neonatology, etc. In addition, since 2017 in Kostanayregionthere has been launched a new direction - payments to specialists on highly deficient areas of lifting in the amount of 1.5 million to 2.5 million tenge. Young specialists receive assistance in providing housing, lifting allowances at the expense of the organization's resources, consolidating the mentor and stable work.

Further, employers began to attract graduates to their regions, in turn, presenting their medical organization, focused on the proposed social packages, namely, the lift, the provision of housing, payment for rental housing, employment of spouses and the placement of children of young doctors to children preschool institutions.

Based on the results of the survey of employers, the level of graduates of theoretical and practical training was rated as "Good". At the end of the event, tripartite agreements were concluded with the bachelors of 2018 on the "Public Health" specialty,residents. Interns  of the 7 year became entrenched for medical organizations with which contracts were concluded and they will start working on their specialty and begin their career growth in August 2018.
