Topical isssues of HIV infection
On the eve of December
1-World Day against AIDS stuff of Immunology and Allergology Department,
together with third-year groups faculty
of «General medicine» was held a round table on HIV prevention.
Guests of the round table epidemiologist of Karaganda regional center for prevention and control of AIDS, Kudryakova I.R. made a presentation on the topic «Epidemiological situation for KSMU students». Presentation and additional video fully covered all the most important and basic aspects of AIDS: International company against AIDS, epidemiological situation in Karaganda region, about stigma and discrimination of HIV infected.
Director of public association «Sau urpak» Nosyrova E.A. presented the video «Dream» about hard luck of patients, which deeply touched the hearts of the students.
Students actively participated in the discussion of this problem, also was held interesting quiz during which were discussed and asked various questions.
High activity and interest of students indicate the necessity in further continuation of discussion of the problem of HIV-infection.
