On the eve of the 26th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of General PracticeNo. 1 held an event for the Independence Day "Tauelsizdik - Tugyrym", which was organized by members of the department and students of the 5th year of the "General Medicine" specialty. The guests of the event were: Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry - Venera Bazarbekovna Tashkenbaeva, Deputy Deans of the Faculty: Baimenova Aiman ​​Serikbaevna - responsible for 4-5 courses in the "General Medicine" specialty, Sharapieva Sulushash Beketovna - responsible for 6-7 courses in the "General Medicine" specialty, Kultenova Makhabbat Tulegenovna - Deputy Dean for Educational-methodical and Research Work, Koyshibaev Zhandos Muratovich - Deputy Dean of the International Medical Faculty.

The purpose of the concert was to honor the memory and courage of the participants in the December riots of 1986, the awakening of a sense of patriotism and love for the Motherland, the formation of a culture of speech among the youth. Students of the 5th course of the "General Medicine" specialty shared their opinion by organizing a stage game, by a quiz. A person's nostalgia for the past can not be called patriotism, but at the same time one can not live only by illusions about the future. Therefore, if every citizen respects his President, Homeland, education and honor, he will fulfill his duties, then the country will develop in the right direction in a brighter future. Leaders of the round table Oryn Manas and Azimkhanova Zhadyra, students of the 5-061 and 5-043 groups, shared with the guests the achievements of the country in the history of the development of our country. By organizing a stage game students honored the memory of the heroes: Kairat Ryskulbekov, Lyazzat Asanova, Erbol Spataev, who could not witness the independence of their Motherland. Students of the 5-055 group Ayapbergenov Yerkebulan and Onashbai Maria played the roles of Kairat Ryskulbekov and Lyazzat, and student of the 5-031 group Koishybayev Askhat was able to convey the heroic image of Erbol. Student of the 5-060 group Safarhanuly Abzal performed "Aday" and "Talas" kuys, Parmankulova Symbat of the 5-028 group sang the "Kazaktai el kaida" song. Karsybayev Meirman, a student of the 5-064 group, performed the "Kok tudyn zhelbіregeni" song. The conclusion of the event was a quiz, consisting of 4 stages, in which 3 teams took part, as part of the 5th year students. In the end, the participants were awarded with letters of gratitude and gifts from the Head of the Department of General Medical Practice No. 1 PhD (Medicine), associate professor G.Z.Mershenova.
