On November10, 2017 Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Committee of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Institution of the History of the State and Convention of the Historical Association held the international research and training conference "Modernization of the public conscience: Alash and continuation of  idea of the independence” in Congress hall of  EXPO-2017.

   Welcome speech addressed to conference participants was made by the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan G.N. Abdykalikova. The conference was attended by deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of RK, public figures, employees of state organizations and ministries, leaders of foreign research institutions of the Republic of Turkey, Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Bashkortostan and Republic of Kyrgyzstan and teachers and representatives of mass media. From the department of history of Kazakhstan and social and political disciplines of KSMU Head of the department, candidate of Philosophical Science, associate Professor, K.A. Temirgaliev, associate Professors, candidates of Historical Science B.K. Kyzdarbekov, A.E. Danyarova, B.S. Malybaeva, A.T. Moldasheva were invited.

The main goal of the conference is to support life-changing initiatives of the Head of State in the sphere of modernization of the public conscience and spiritual renovation, discussion of the current problem of historical science identified in the two sections of the conference: «Russian revolution of 1917 and Alash  Horde» and «Novel ideas for a political platform of Alash Horde : development and implementation».
