The practical part of the training was held of the basis of educational and scientific-research department of "Basic and Applied Sciences" at the University of Poitiers which was conducted by Professor Paule Séité and Brigitte Vannier. The main objective of the laboratory research was to develop skills in the Taq polymerase extraction from recombinant E.coli strains, carrying the pAKTaq plasmid (addgene, France). The evaluation of the extracted enzyme was carried out by polymerase chain reaction.

During the internship there was held meetings with professors Christophe Burucoa from the Microbiological Laboratory at the University Hospital, Pierre-Yves Louis from the Laboratory of mathematics and programming of the University of Poitiers, Jérôme Guillard from the Institute of Chemistry, materials and natural resources of Poitiers. Our colleagues visited Platform of Visualization «ImageUp» Poitiers University and attended lectures research engineer Adriana Delwail on modern capabilities of flow cytometry and Emile Béré on the use of electron microscopy in scientific research. Also, an excursion was made to the modern laboratory complex, where the vivarium is located and animal studies are conducted.

In addition to the practical skills and obtained theoretical knowledge, scientific contacts were established with colleagues from the University of Poitiers.
