On 18-20 october, 2017, The VII International Forum of Social Entrepreneurs and Investorsof “InnoSib-2017” was held in Omsk.

We, the first-year interns of Karaganda State Medical University, Litvinov Vyacheslav and Tashmetov Eliarbek were able to take part in the work of the forum.

The "InnoSib" forum is held at the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. This year for the seventh time for six years more than 4,500 people from 19 countries took part in the event. The "InnoSib" forum has become a traditional international platform for social entrepreneurs, representatives of government bodies, foreign and Russian experts, social investors, representatives of public organizations.

Participation in the forum allowed us to get acquainted with the experience of social entrepreneurship in Russia, China, Germany, South Africa, Belarus, Korea, India, Nepal, Mozambique with international tools for support of social and entrepreneurial projects, acquired knowledge about new ways of assessing and the subtleties of mentoring social and entrepreneurial projects, innovations in this segment of the business.

  The program of the forum included ten panel discussions on innovations in social entrepreneurship and social investment mechanisms, innovative economy in the development of human capital, where key individuals of social and innovative entrepreneurship and representatives of the state administration of the Russian Federation delivered speeches. These sites highlighted the main issues and nuances of social commerce, and they showed us common features of development and methods for improving records management in the social sphere in spite of the difference in the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the countries represented by the participants.

  During the forum, a business exchange of contracts was defined; where business participants could conclude contracts on preliminary cooperation with projects that get them interested them. We, in turn, made an agreement with the private Medical Rehabilitation Center "SKOLIOS" within the framework of medical tourism and Omsk Rehabilitation Center "Rassvet" about the application of our methodology on their basis. Representatives of the German business incubator proposed an agreement on mutual cooperation in the medical accelerator part.

  On the last day of the event, there was conducted an excursion to large social enterprises, where a discussion platform was organized between representatives of the authorities and entrepreneurs, issues of interaction were covered between management bodies and business structures. We, as representatives of a foreign state, were included in a small expert commission, where we shared our experience of doing business in our country.

  The last forum gave considerable experience for us, as the beginning participants of the business market, allowed to expand the theoretical base in the field of social innovations, opened the possibility of working with foreign partners.
